These terms cover this website. They are short because the site is a description of a course: there is nothing here to buy and no account to create.
Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Miracle Supernova OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. Using the site means accepting these terms.
What you may do with it
Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, and show it to whoever you like. The text, design, illustrations and the Sonic Supernova name remain ours.
The code examples shown on these pages are there to be learned from. Use them in your own projects without asking.
What you may not do
- Republish the site, or substantial parts of it, as though it were yours.
- Use our name or branding in a way that suggests we endorse or are involved in something we are not.
- Attempt to disrupt the site or the server it runs on.
Accuracy
The course is described here as it is being built, and the curriculum, the module order and the tooling may change. Nothing on this page is a promise that a particular module will exist in a particular form on a particular date.
The technical claims -- what JUCE does, what a compiler warns about, what a host expects -- are made in good faith and tested where we can test them, but they are teaching material rather than a specification. Check anything you are going to rely on.
Other people’s software
The course refers to and works with software we do not control, among it JUCE, CLion, Keygen.sh and the plugin formats themselves. Their licences and terms are theirs, and you are responsible for keeping to them. CLion is free for non-commercial use; selling a plugin you build is commercial use and needs a paid licence from JetBrains.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from relying on what it says.
Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Which law applies
Estonian law governs these terms, and the Estonian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with them.
